Many of you have noticed our outgoing message on our online store about us returning April 1st. Well, we are back from a  much needed vacation to Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan.  Bonus is we went during Cherry Blossom season. I am super lucky and blessed that my family and I can travel abroad and even luckier that my 5 year old does surprisingly well on long flights like these.

I never thought that I would be able to visit such an amazing place with so much history. My favorite part of my trip was being able to wash our hands at a sacred spring in Sanjusengen-do Temple. My daughter and I lit some candles and some incense for the 1000 armed and 11 headed Kannon bodhisattva. My wonderful husband surprised me with a rose quartz Mala from the temple and …is this heaven? because it sure feels like it.

The fact that in every corner are shrines and temples was a regular reminder for gratitude and staying grounded. This location was my total happy place

And don’t even get me started on the crystal shops that were right NEXT to my hotel. OMG! I couldn’t have planned it any better if I tried. If you are in the city and are looking for stones, start at Crystal World and then walk that area, there are quite a few hidden gems there. Here are the Directions.

My family and I stuffed our faces with lots of delicious food including Ramen (which my daughter refereed to as spaghetti  soup) and loads of fresh Sushi.

But of course, all good things must come to an end and this trip has gone by as quickly as it started.

I am slowly getting back into my routine and reopening our shop. I’ll be answering all my emails and updating our shop with all the goodies.

New announcements will be on the horizon, so stay tuned. In the mean time, enjoy some of the pics.

Love and Light,

Michelle
